XFileSuite is proprietary software. It also includes third-party components that remain subject to their own licenses. This page identifies the FFmpeg components distributed with the macOS App and provides a stable path to their corresponding source.
FFmpeg source and notices
The macOS App ships a standalone FFmpeg 8.0.1 universal executable. Its matching source archive, build script, recorded patch, notices, license texts, and SHA-256 manifest are published in our public GitHub Release.

libmpv media frameworks source and notices
The macOS App also includes media_kit's native libmpv framework bundle (mpv 0.36.0, upstream asset v0.6.0). Its pinned public build recipe, dependency locks, patches, license texts, and framework SHA-256 manifest are published in GitHub Releases, not in Cloudflare R2.

ImageMagick attribution
This product includes ImageMagick software, Copyright © 1999 ImageMagick Studio LLC. ImageMagick is used for image processing. The ImageMagick License requires a copy of its license and clear attribution when ImageMagick software is redistributed. The complete license is included with the App and is available from the official ImageMagick License page. For auditability, its pinned source, upstream NOTICE, binary identification, and checksums are also in our public GitHub Release, never in Cloudflare R2.
Build information
FFmpeg is configured without GPL, nonfree, or version 3 components and is invoked by XFileSuite as a separate executable. No FFmpeg source files were modified. The source archive records the only source-tree adjustment: removing an obsolete macOS compiler flag from libvorbis 1.3.7's configure script.
Your rights
Nothing in XFileSuite's terms limits rights granted by applicable open-source licenses. This includes rights necessary to modify and debug LGPL-covered components. The complete license texts and corresponding source are in the linked Release archive.
